The charismatic Morgan stallion, Salem
Command, has provided thrills galore for everyone who has been lucky enough to count themselves a part of his life. His image
has appeared over and over again in national ad campaigns representing the Morgan breed to the general public, because he
exemplifies the best we have to offer--incredible beauty, great talent and that unmistakable "Morgan look". Predictably, those
qualities have earned him a huge fan club from coast to coast, and a group of admirers that continues to grow with every appearance
he makes.
In the year 2001, he was selected as a
sire by several breeders in Sweden and in Austria in order to introduce via the shipment of frozen semen, a fresh and very
successful bloodline into their Morgan stock. Salem Command continues to be a very popular breeding horse who passes on to
his sons and daughters his intelligence, his talent and his willingness to please. Many of them have earned National and World
titles of their own. But above all else, he is an exceptionally happy, well-mannered and kind horse who wins the hearts of
all who know him. Perhaps the popularity he has enjoyed his whole life is because behind his distinct, refined look and his
remarkable athletic ability, he possesses those most prized of all show horse attributes--an honest mind and a great heart.
"Winston" is a once-in-a-lifetime, never-to-be-forgotten horse, and has always been one of the truly great gentlemen of the
show ring. He combines awe-inspiring elegance and style with extreme power--a rare combination that gave definition to the
original concept of a "Park Horse".
He is, to say the least, an extraordinary
creature. He is Salem Command.
