The UVM Morgan Horse Farm is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the Morgan Horse through breeding and selection. Designated as a National Historic Site, the farm is also home to significant Morgan history and a variety of educational programs. For over 50 years, the farm has provided educational experiences and training for students and visitors while perpetuating the Battell, Government, and UVM bloodlines. UVM Morgans are prized as superb pleasure horses for recreational use and as foundation broodstock. The UVM Morgan Horse Farm is the oldest continuing Morgan Horse breeding program in existence, having bred Morgans of the highest calibre for well over 150 years.

This auction is for the bidder's choice of one stallion currently standing at the UVM Morgan Horse Farm. Listed above and pictured below are the farm's current roster of stallions. UVM Lash is pictured above but NOT included as a choice stallion for UVM in 2009.  For more information, full pedigrees and details about any of these outstanding Morgan stallions, please visit the farm's website: www.uvm.edu/morgan
