Hillfield Nightrider is a multiple World and Reserve World Champion in the Classic Pleasure division.  He won the Classic Pleasure Saddle Championship at the New England Regional for three consecutive years. He was voted the Classic Pleasure Saddle and Reserve Classic Pleasure Driving Horse of the Decade by the readers of Horse World. Before showing Classic, Nightrider won many Grand Champion Stallion titles, as well as numerous championships in English Pleasure and Pleasure Driving.

Nightrider is siring offspring that have his refinement, length of neck, beautiful head, and kind, sensible disposition. He has been tested by UC Davis and found to be homozygous for black (EEaa).  He therefore sires 100% black, bay, or brown offspring, with many being black.  When bred to a black mare, he always produces a black foal. He is a quality stallion that would be a good choice for anyone wanting to breed for black, as well as for anyone wanting to breed for beauty, friendliness, and trainability.

 Nightrider is the sire of Troika’s Black Russian, World and Reserve World Champion in the Amateur Western Pleasure division, and Alansa’s Dark Knight, the 2006  Jr. Exhibitor 14-17 Classic Pleasure Reserve Champion at New England, Jr. Exhibitor Classic Champion at Maine Morgan, and Jr. Exhibitor Classic Pleasure Reserve Champion at Mass Morgan. He is the grandsire of Wildcard’s Satin Rose, who was a regional champion on the East Coast in hunter pleasure and is now a western pleasure champion on the West Coast
